These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sasono Prepaid Card and/or Vouchers (collective the “Product”), issued and operated by Sason Finance Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of Canada. By purchasing, using, or redeeming the Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Product.

1. Definitions

  • Product: The Sasono Product, which can be redeemed for goods or services at participating merchants.
  • End-User: A natural person who purchases, uses, or redeems the Product.
  • Merchant: Any business that accepts the Product for payment.
  • Issuer: Sason Finance Ltd, Canada.
  • KYC: Know Your Customer procedures required by law to verify the identity of End-Users.

2. General Use

2.1 The Product is a prepaid payment instrument and does not constitute a credit, debit, or charge Product.
2.2 The Product may only be used to pay for goods and services with participating merchants that accept Sasono Prepaid Products.
2.3 The Product is non-reloadable and cannot be redeemed by the End-User for cash, except as required by law.

3. Purchasing the product

3.1 Products can be purchased online via authorized agents, resellers, or directly from the Issuer.
3.2 When purchasing the Product, you may be required to provide personal information to comply with KYC and AML requirements.
3.3 The purchase price of the Product equals its face value plus any applicable service fees, as disclosed at the time of purchase.

4. Using the product

4.1 The Product may only be used by the individual who purchases it or to whom it is issued.
4.2 To redeem the Product, you must provide the unique PIN or code associated with it.
4.3 The Product cannot be used to make payments in excess of its available balance.
4.4 If a transaction is made in a currency other than the Product’s denomination, conversion rates and fees will apply.

5. Fees

5.1 The following fees may apply:

  • Redemption Fee
  • Maintenance Fee
  • Currency Conversion Fee: A percentage of the transaction amount for payments in a currency other than the Product’s denomination.

5.2 All fees will be deducted directly from the Product’s balance.

6. Product Security

6.1 Keep your Product and associated PIN or code secure. Do not share your PIN or code with anyone.
6.2 If your Product is lost, stolen, or otherwise compromised, you must notify the Issuer immediately. The Issuer is not liable for unauthorized transactions unless required by law.

7. KYC and personal data

7.1 The Issuer may require personal information, including your full name, date of birth, country, email, and phone number, to comply with KYC and AML regulations.
7.2 Your personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, and the Issuer’s Privacy Policy.

8. Expiration and Redemption

8.1 The Product expires 12 months from the date of purchase.
8.2 Any remaining balance after expiration may be forfeited unless required by law.
8.3 You may redeem any remaining balance on the Product for cash, subject to a Redemption Fee, where permitted by applicable law.

9. Refunds and Disputes

9.1 Refunds for goods or services purchased with the Product are subject to the merchant’s refund policy.
9.2 Any disputes regarding transactions made using the Product must be reported to the Issuer within 30 days of the transaction.

10. Limitations of Liability

10.1 The Issuer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from:

  • Unauthorized use of the Product.
  • Failure by a merchant to honor the Product.
  • Errors or interruptions in the Product system.

10.2 The Issuer’s liability is limited to the balance remaining on the Product.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the local court of the Issuer.

12. Amendments

The Issuer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective upon notification via the Issuer’s website or email. Your continued use of the Product constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
